Indian Multinational Company Makes Its First Attempt at Euro-Standard and American-Standard CT Testing Bench: Equipment Continuously Upgraded to Keep Up With the Times
In modern power systems, CT testing bench play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of equipment and improving power supply reliability. A multinational company from India specializes in the production of current transformers, with a range of currents from 40A to 5000A and rated loads from 2.5VA to 10VA. They need to operate continuously for 24 hours and test 12 CTs in 3 minutes. Based on the customer’s requirements, we developed a preliminary proposal. After the customer reviewed the preliminary plan, they quickly arranged technicians to come to our company for in-depth communication, discussing technical parameters, testing time, testing speed, software design, testing standards, and report templates in detail. We then made several consecutive modifications to the proposal and finally determined the specifications to be a 1000A/1A&5A 12CT comprehensive testing bench. Subsequently, the customer officially placed an order and clarified the delivery time and usage requirements.
To ensure the smooth progress of the project, our company promptly initiated internal procedures and arranged professional engineers to carry out equipment configuration and production planning. Throughout the manufacturing process, we strictly followed international standards and the specific requirements of the customers, ensuring that each step met the highest quality standards. The main components we used were clearly identified with brands, and some were imported from abroad. At the same time, we maintained close communication with the customers and promptly provided feedback on the production progress to ensure transparency and accuracy of information. The project was completed and the customer conducted on-site acceptance and testing as per the agreed time in the contract after 40 days.
The equipment successfully completed the acceptance process and was arranged to be shipped by sea to India that week. During the transportation process, we adopted a professional logistics plan to ensure that the equipment was not damaged during transit. After the equipment arrived, we arranged experienced technicians to provide online guidance for the customers to install and connect the equipment. Since the equipment was transported as a whole, only simple wiring was required to conduct the test, and the customers could easily get started. After the wiring was completed, we also guided the customers to conduct a comprehensive system test to ensure the stable operation of the equipment and accurate data. We also provided detailed operation training for the customers. The training content covered the basic operation of the equipment, daily maintenance, fault troubleshooting,and safety precautions, ensuring that the customer technicians could master the usage methods of the equipment and improve the subsequent operation efficiency. During use, the customer raised new requirements to test a 1VA transformer. Our technical team quickly provided feedback through brainstorming and added an electronic load box to meet the customer’s new demand. Now our electronic load box has become increasingly mature.
