1、 Principle of series resonant voltage withstand test deviceThe series resonant voltage withstand test device is a testing method that utilizes a series resonant circuit to achieve high voltage output. The basic principle is to use a transformer to raise the low voltage to the high voltage value that needs…

The volt ampere characteristic is the relationship between the voltage and current of the secondary winding of a current transformer. If the voltage is adjusted from small to large, and each current corresponding to the applied voltage is drawn in a coordinate system (the voltage is in the vertical coordinate…

For transformers, electromagnetic voltage transformers, etc., the main insulation of the tested object (referring to the insulation between windings to ground, between phases, and between windings of different voltage levels) is often checked by using the test method of obtaining high voltage from secondary pressurization. In addition, the insulation strength…

Measuring the dielectric loss factor is a highly sensitive test item that can detect overall moisture and deterioration of the insulation of power equipment, as well as local cracks in the small volume of tested equipment that are connected or not connected. The test precautions for measuring the dielectric loss…

The breakdown voltage of insulating oil is a measure of its ability to withstand voltage inside electrical equipment without being damaged, and is one of the main means to test the performance of transformer oil. The precautions for measuring the breakdown voltage of insulating oil include:1. The structural type of…

Under the action of the alternating electric field generated by alternating current, insulating oil theoretically only passes through a weak capacitive current inside the medium, which is 90 ° ahead of the phase of the applied voltage, only affecting the power factor of electrical equipment without generating power loss. But…

The concept of five defenses1. Prevent closing the isolation switch with load.2. Prevent accidental opening and closing of circuit breakers.3. Prevent the grounding switch from closing with load.4. Prevent the load from being sent out when the grounding switch is closed.5. Prevent accidental entry into the charged area. The five prevention…

The use of a DC high-voltage generator for DC leakage testing is a comprehensive analysis of the insulation quality of the tested product based on the magnitude of the leakage current, the changes in leakage current during continuous boosting, and the stability of the leakage current during boosting. DC withstand…

When the internal medium of a cable experiences a fracture fault, the exact location cannot be seen when it is wrapped with insulation skin, including strong and weak currents. The usual approach to finding a breakpoint is to investigate it in sections. So what are the commonly used methods for…

There are two main reasons for the failure of lightning arresters:Reason 1: Poor sealingCommon lightning protection devices are mainly used to prevent damage to electrical equipment in substations caused by lightning waves. It not only has excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, but also has characteristics such as low cost, no gap,…
