Power transformers are the core of all modern power systems. Without electricity, the world cannot operate, and without transformers, the power system cannot be imagined.Do you know what the core of these transformers is?Yes, you guessed it right! It is the winding of a transformer, without which the transformer cannot…

Grounding rods, discharge rods, and brake rods are all types of safety tools. The grounding rod is a part of the grounding wire. The conductor is buried underground and the ground discharge rod is suitable for outdoor high-voltage testing, especially after conducting DC withstand voltage testing, using the grounding rod…

What are the troubleshooting methods for circuit resistance testers?1. Fault phenomenon: the circuit resistance tester is connected to the 220V AC power supply, and the fan has no running sound. Press the "test switch", and the Ammeter and micro ohmmeter have no display.Reason: 220V AC power supply blocked, fuse not…

When conducting AC withstand voltage tests on high-voltage and high-capacity equipment, the capacity requirements of the test transformer are very high, and the test equipment is bulky. However, the application of series resonance principle can utilize equipment with much smaller voltage and capacity to generate the required test voltage, meeting…

The no-load current of transformers is determined by impedance. If the performance and quality of silicon steel sheets are poor, or if the manufacturing process of the iron core is poor, the laminations are uneven, the joints are too large, and the clamping force is too small or too large,…

Inflatable test transformers are important testing equipment in power testing. Electric power workers need to use various test transformers when conducting high-voltage tests and insulation withstand voltage tests on electrical equipment such as power transformers, transformers, and circuit breakers in the power system. So, due to its unique structure and…

When a direct current voltage is applied to the dielectric, the initial instantaneous current is high, gradually decays over a certain period of time, and finally stabilizes. These three stages of current variation exhibit different physical phenomena. The initial instantaneous current is determined by the elastic polarization of the dielectric.…

The microcomputer relay protection tester is an important testing equipment that is often used by power workers to test the performance of power transformers and relays in their daily work. With the widespread use of microcomputer relay protection, the microcomputer relay protection tester has also been continuously developed, updated, and…

Transformer short-circuit impedance, also known as impedance voltage, refers to the equivalent series impedance Zk=Rk+jXk between terminals in a pair of windings at rated frequency and reference temperature. Due to its value being determined through load testing in addition to calculation, it is commonly referred to as impedance voltage. When the…

What are the precautions for using a live cable identification device1、 Avoid direct contact with metal rods with handsWhen using a live cable identification device, we first need to connect the metal rod of the live cable identification device to the metal protective layer or metal shield of the faulty…
