The power system uses compensation capacitor banks to improve power factor, and reactive compensation capacitors have a large working capacity and frequent switching. To ensure the reliability of the equipment, regular testing is necessary. The traditional method is to remove the capacitor busbar and measure it with a capacitance meter.…

1. Fault phenomenon: the loop resistance tester is connected to the 220V AC power supply, and the fan has no running sound. Press the "test switch", and the Ammeter and micro ohmmeter have no display.Reason: 220V AC power supply blocked, fuse not installed or blown.Troubleshooting: Check and troubleshoot. The fuse…

1. The instrument must have a good grounding (very important);2. Connect the power supply to connect the output end of the control console to the input end of the generator, and connect the instrument to the instrument. Turn on the air switch, and at this time, the current regulator waits…

The oil chromatography analysis method is a method that has been developed by the power operation department since the formation of the preventive maintenance system. By regularly analyzing the gas components, content, and gas production rate dissolved in oil of transformers or other oil consuming equipment in operation, it can…

Insulating oil gas chromatography analyzer is a technology for separating and analyzing multi-component mixtures. It mainly utilizes the differences in boiling points, polarity, and adsorption coefficients of each component in the sample in the chromatographic column to separate each component in the column, and conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis of…

The volt ampere characteristic is the relationship between the voltage and current of the secondary winding of a current transformer. If the voltage is adjusted from small to large, the curve formed by plotting each current corresponding to the applied voltage in a coordinate system (voltage on the vertical axis,…

The DC resistance tester is mainly used to test the DC resistance value of high-voltage electrical equipment such as power transformers. It has many characteristics such as fast testing speed, high accuracy, convenience, flexibility, and portability. It has always been a favorite equipment for many power workers, and there are…

Before the cable is put into operation, a voltage withstand test is required. The usual test methods include using an ultra-low frequency cable voltage withstand tester for AC voltage withstand test, a series resonance test device for AC voltage withstand test, and a DC high-voltage generator for DC voltage withstand…

After conducting DC resistance measurement operations on power transformers, residual magnetism will remain in their iron cores. If residual magnetism is not handled, it may have many adverse effects on the relay protection devices and primary equipment of power transformers. Excessive excitation inrush current can cause the transformer to fail…

Grounding resistance is an important parameter used to measure whether the grounding status is good. It is the resistance encountered by the current flowing from the grounding device into the ground and then passing through the ground to another grounding body or spreading to a distance. It includes the resistance…
