The working principle of series resonance equipment is mainly based on the phenomenon of series resonance. Series resonance refers to the phenomenon of resonance in a circuit where the voltage and current in the circuit reach their maximum values at certain specific frequencies when components such as inductors and capacitors are connected in series.

Specifically, the series resonant device adjusts the output frequency of the variable frequency controller to achieve a series resonant state between the circuit inductance L and the sample C. In this state, the resonant voltage is the voltage applied to the specimen. The excitation transformer in the equipment is used to excite the series resonant circuit, while the frequency modulation power output is coupled to the series resonant circuit through the excitation transformer, providing the required excitation power for resonance.

In addition, the series resonance equipment also utilizes the power frequency series resonance generated by the tuning inductance and load capacitance to obtain the required power frequency test voltage. The equipment consists of a variable frequency power supply, excitation transformer, reactor, compensation capacitor, and voltage divider. These components work together to form a series resonant connection between the capacitor and reactor of the test object, thereby achieving a high-voltage withstand test on the test object.

In general, series resonant equipment precisely controls the output frequency of the variable frequency controller to generate resonance in components such as inductors and capacitors in the circuit, thereby achieving efficient and accurate high-voltage testing of the test object.
