Introduction to the Functional Characteristics of Transformer Short Circuit Impedance Tester

Low voltage short-circuit impedance measurement is a basic item in conventional testing projects. By comparing the short-circuit impedance values measured before and after the transformer is subjected to short-circuit current impact, the degree of winding deformation can be preliminarily estimated based on the magnitude of its change. The impedance change between the transformer and the initially tested low voltage short-circuit after the short-circuit current surge should not exceed 2%. Low voltage short-circuit impedance test is the most direct method to identify whether a transformer is affected by short-circuit current during operation, or whether its winding is deformed after being mechanically impacted during transportation and installation. It is of great significance for determining whether a transformer can be put into operation and is also one of the basis for determining whether a transformer requires disassembly inspection.

ZC-204B Transformer Short Circuit Impedance Tester is a specialized instrument for measuring low voltage short circuit impedance of transformers under on-site and laboratory conditions. The instrument comes with an adjustable power output, which is particularly suitable for on-site testing of 110kV and above main transformers.

6. Single machine measurement of voltage and current has a wide range, supporting external CT and PT to further expand the measurement range.

7. Built in non power-off memory, can store measurement data for a long time, and the instrument comes with a printer.

8. Test data can be imported into a computer for further analysis or storage.

10. The transparent large screen LCD can display clearly under direct sunlight.
