Step 1: Equipment preparation

① Ensure the working status of the testing instrument is normal, check the power supply, and confirm that the equipment is in a usable state.

② Clean the testing instruments and electrodes to ensure that their surfaces are clean and free from oil or impurities.

③ Prepare insulation oil samples to ensure their accuracy and representativeness.

Step 2: Set experimental parameters

① Turn on the power switch of the insulation oil dielectric strength tester and start the equipment.

② According to the test requirements and standards, set the parameters of the testing instrument, including voltage, test time, etc. Set appropriate parameters as needed.

Step 3: Electrode installation

① Connect the two electrodes to the testing instrument, ensuring that the electrode plug is securely connected to the slot.

② Gently insert the electrode into the insulating oil sample, ensuring that the end of the electrode is in full contact with the sample.

Step 4: Conduct the experiment

① Press the start button or corresponding test button on the device, and the testing instrument will apply a certain voltage to the insulation oil sample.

② Start the timer and maintain a certain test time. Generally, the test time is 1 minute.

③ During the experiment, observe the changes in instrument data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the experiment.

Step 5: Record the results

① After the test is completed, carefully record the test results, including the test date, identification of the insulation oil sample, applied voltage value, and test time.

② Turn off the testing instrument and pay attention to safe operation.

Step 6: Data processing and analysis

① Organize and archive the experimental results for subsequent data analysis and comparison.

② Based on the test results, evaluate the dielectric strength of insulating oil and determine its insulation performance and reliability in electrical equipment.
