Ten Precautions for Using SF6 Gas Leak Detectors

:2023-08-21 09:50:30:

SF6 gas leak detector is a new generation of fully automatic intelligent leak detector, which is a stable and sensitive leak detector. The high-tech central microprocessor unit is the core of the SF6 leak detector, and its digital signal processing capability can better manage circuits and process detection signals. Due to the extensive use of integrated circuits, the number of components in the circuit has been reduced by 40%, greatly improving reliability and efficiency. The microprocessor monitors the probe and battery voltage at a speed of 4000 times per second, and even tiny signals can be captured, ensuring stable and reliable operation in any environment.

Ten precautions for using SF6 gas leak detector:

1. During the measurement process, the flow regulating needle valve should be slowly opened to prevent sudden pressure changes and damage to the flow sensor; The flow rate of measuring gas SF6 should be adjusted between 0.5~0.9L/min, which can not only measure quickly but also save gas

2. During the use of the instrument, when the battery indicator is insufficient, it should be charged in a timely manner. To charge, simply connect the power cord to a 220V power source without turning on the instrument power switch. The instrument will automatically charge, and the charging indicator light will turn on. After charging is completed, the charging indicator light will turn off.

3. The instrument must be stored with sufficient electricity. If it is not used for a long time, it is necessary to check whether the electricity is sufficient frequently.

4. It is recommended to confirm that the measured impurities are free of contamination before measurement.

5. It is recommended to store the instrument in a well ventilated and dry environment.

6. Avoid collisions and severe vibrations. The sensors inside the instrument are extremely precise, and collisions or severe vibrations may cause damage to the thermal conductivity sensor.

7. The pressure of the measured gas should not be too high, and should not exceed 1MPa, otherwise it is very easy to damage the sensor. It is generally recommended that the pressure of the measured gas be less than 0.7MPa, and the gas flow rate should be generally between 0.5 and 0.9L/min. Excessive airflow can waste gas. Excessive airflow may affect the measurement speed, as replacing the air in the internal pipeline also requires a process.

8. Before using the new instrument, please first use up the battery and then charge it for more than 12-14 hours. Repeat this process three times to fully activate the battery's performance.

9. If it is not used for a long time, please check if the battery level is sufficient at an interval of about 1 month. If the battery level is not sufficient, please fully charge it before storing it, otherwise it will affect the battery life.

10. When measuring, please strictly follow the measurement steps.
