Common faults and solutions in the application of series resonance

1. The host cannot find the resonance point.

Reason: The system resonance point is outside the output frequency range of the host; System wiring error;

The system is not reliably grounded; Open circuit or unreliable connection of high-voltage sampling feedback signal; The test sample has a malfunction.

Exclusion method:

1) Check the reliability of the grounding device and whether there are any disconnection points in the grounding connection wire;

2) Check the connection and disconnection of the high and low voltage coils of the excitation transformer;

3) Check the on/off of each reactor;

4) Check the continuity of the signal line of the voltage divider;

5) Check the connection and disconnection of the high and low voltage capacitor arms of the voltage divider;

6) There is no resonance point when the device is boosting itself, and it is also necessary to check the on/off of the compensation capacitor;

2. Reset the host.

Reason: The power supply of the host fluctuates; External strong magnetic field interference; The host is not reliably grounded;


3. The Q value is low, which means that the voltage cannot rise or cannot rise high.

Phenomena:

1) The tuning curve is a curve with lower peaks;

2) During the test, the primary voltage is higher, but the high voltage is lower. Even before reaching the test voltage, the primary voltage has reached the rated voltage, and the circuit automatically depressurizes;

reason:

1) The capacitor of the reactor does not match the capacitance of the test sample, and the resonance point was not accurately found;

2) The sample loss is high, and the system Q value is too low;

3) The high-voltage output voltage of the excitation transformer is relatively low;

4) The high-voltage connection line is too long or no high-voltage corona discharge line is used


Exclusion method:

1) Connect the compensation capacitor to the test circuit and increase the circuit capacitance;

2) Connect multiple reactors in series as much as possible to increase the inductance of the circuit;

3) Increase the output voltage of the excitation transformer;

4) Dry the test sample to improve its insulation strength and reduce active power loss in the circuit;

5) Generally, when the equipment outputs high voltage, high-voltage corona discharge lines are used, or ordinary high-voltage output lines are changed to shorter connecting lines, which generally do not exceed 5 meters.

4. Power supply trip.

Reason: Resonant system circuit short circuit
