ZC-202A can mainly do two kinds of transformer test:
1: No-load test is carried out on the low-voltage side of the transformer. During the test, the high-voltage side (13.8kV) terminal of the transformer is opened, and the voltage is added on the low-voltage side (230V) of the transformer. The 202A measurement results are used.
2: Load test is carried out on the high voltage side of the transformer. During the test, the low voltage side (230V) terminal of the transformer is short-circuited, and the high voltage side (13.8kV) of the transformer is added voltage. The 202A measurement results are used. Because the percentage of short-circuit impedance voltage of distribution transformer is about 4%, the actual applied voltage is about 13.8kV*4%=550V, so the test voltage is also within the test range of the instrument.
